Why did Kristaps Porzingis skip his exit meeting?!

When Kristaps Porzingis skipped his exit interview at the end of the season (2016-17), it was reported that the Latvian big man had a major problem with the then president Phil Jackson, but new information has arisen that suggests Porzingis actually had issues with the Knicks head coach, Jeff Hornacek.

According to leaked information, Porzingis was the main target for Hornacek, and they had repeated feuds off the court, leading to Hornacek cornering Willy Hernangomez (Porzingis' close friend), and demanded that he tells Hornacek to ''stop playing like a pu**y."

This led Porzingis to skip his exit interview and cut any ties he had with this own head coach.

It has to be noted that Porzingis and Hornacek are apparently back on speaking terms, but whether this is through the phone or in person, no-one knows.

The details in the leaks are amazing to read, apparently Porzingis developed a habit of parking in spots designated for the team management members at the practise facility, amongst other things that weren't looked kindly upon by the head coach.

These rumours sum up the Knicks in perfect fashion, the head coach went after the franchise's young and developing superstar while the aging centerpiece was left to his own devices.

What happens next, no-one knows, but the Carmelo/Rockets trade has not gathered any momentum, and may not happen at all.
