The Cubs are still strong favourites
Game one was a shutout for the Cleveland Indians. They won 6-0 and were comfortable at all times. It has often been referenced how important an early lead will be in these games and once Cleveland got it here, they never seemed like losing. It was the perfect start for Cleveland. However, they still cannot be favourites over the Cubs. They lost game one to a rested Indians team. That Indians team was led by Corey Kluber, one of the best pitchers in the game. Unfortunately for the Indians, Kluber will not be able to play game two or three. That is two games the Cubs should win as they have a much deeper pitching unit and the better batting. Expect Hendricks and Arrieta to win the next two games.
