Even though most mixed martial arts experts and fans are expecting Miesha Tate to beat Amanda Nunes at UFC 200, that actually shouldn't be the case. This is because Miesha Tate's fighting style has become very predictable as she heavily relies upon one striking combination where she throws a left jab followed by the straight right hand with the intention of getting her opponent to cover up the face. Which gives her the opportunity to duck down and shoot for a takedown in hopes of getting the fight to the ground. However, this fighting style rarely is effective early in fights because her opponents know that she uses that combination to get in position for the takedown thus they tend to take one or two steps back once she starts to throw the combination. Thus her opponents get several opportunities to land a counter strike, for instance, in the first two minutes of her fight against Jessica Eye every time she would start to throw that combination Eye would take one or two steps back and land a counter jab.
If she decides to use this type of fighting style against Amanda Nunes, it will increase the likelihood of an early finish for Nunes. This is because all she has to do is take one or two steps back once Tate starts to throw the combination and land the straight right or lead left hook and it will most likely rock Tate. Therefore, I would advise Tate to be extremely patient and allow Nunes to be the aggressor by controlling the cage and letting her throw first which would give the opportunity to look for and possibly land a counter takedown. But unfortunately, I don't expect her to use this type of style which means that Nunes should win the fight.
