NBA Players of the Night Russell Westbrook and Klay Thompson


Tonight it was two amazing performances from Russell Westbrook and Klay Thompson.

Russell Westbrook notched his 6th straight triple-double as the Thunder beat the Hawks. Westbrook finished with 32 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists. He was 10/22 (45%) from the field. Westbrook now has the 4th longest streak with triple-doubles in NBA history. He trails Michael Jordan with 7 in 1989, Oscar Robertson with 7 in 1961 and Wilt Chamberlain with 9 in 1968.

Klay Thompson was phenomenal tonight as the Warriors dismantled the Hawks. At halftime he had 40 points scoring 20 of them in the 2nd quarter. Klay ended the game scoring a career-high 60 points in 29 minutes. He was 21/33 (63%) from the field, 10/11 (90%) from the free-throw line and 8/14 (57%) from the three-point line.
