Mayo put a bump in their efforts to secure a victory over Dublin for the first time since 2012 when Jordan Flynn received a red card early in the first half. A goal by Dean Rock in the 45th minute spelled doom for the man-short Mayo and Dublin ran away with a 6 point victory.

Monaghan secures an impressive 4 point win over Tyrone for new manager Seamus McEnaney's first win. Coming into the second half after an 0-7 to 0-6 first half, Monaghan struck in a 44th minute goal despite being down one man.
