The Most Burning Questions of the Second Playoffs Round
While some folks leave the requests that sound like “Who can do my assignment?” or “How can I reduce my stress?” the hockey fans wish to know “Who will win the Stanley Cup?”

The NHL playoffs are getting ever hotter as the teams progress to the next rounds. The time has come for the semi-finals of Western and Eastern Conferences. Though there are four pairs of competing teams, the public pays greater attention to two matchups.
The first pair is Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Washington Capitals. What is there so special about this pair? Most experts believe that the winner of this series will win the Cup. Let’s remind that Pittsburgh is the current winner of the previous season. Washington won the President Trophy for the second consecutive time. Accordingly, one should draw a reasonable conclusion that one of these teams will win the Cup.
One of the most interesting facts about this pair is that the Capitals are not able to win the Playoffs’ series against the Penguins since the year 1994. This is a way too long, isn’t it? Both teams are known for their long rivalry due to the neighborhood of Washington and Pennsylvania. Therefore, such matchups are extremely interesting.
Another spot that should be considered is the rivalry of the main leaders and captains of both teams. Sidney Crosby (from Pittsburgh) and Alex Ovechkin (from Washington). Both players are the well-known record holders of the League in numerous nominations. Both players are the most sought-after players in the entire League for the last years. The statistics show that the most frequent search requests are left on Crosby and Ovechkin is right after him.
These facts speak for themselves. Their fans, as well as other hockey lovers, are surely looking forward this rivalry. The expectations are actually high. The games are supposed to be intense and even cruel sometimes. However, such series shows the uttermost beauty of the modern hockey.
The second pair is Anaheim Mighty Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers. These two do not have a classification that can be called “a true rivalry”. Nevertheless, this pair draws the attention of many hockey experts and simple fans. Why? First of all, the attraction is caught due to the Oilers. Many years have already passed since Edmonton could show a great hockey. The times of Gretzky and Messier seem to never come back. In the recent years, the Canadian team showed a really poor hockey though they had many first-round draft pickups.
However, the team has finally clinched the playoffs and won San-Jose Sharks in the first round. Now, the young team of talents seems to find its confidence and its leader Connor McDavid shows together with other stars show tremendous hockey of the top class. This gives great hopes to its fans, as well as for simple fans who are expecting a tough series. Will the Oilers outplay the Ducks? If they stay out of the penalty box, they have all chances to advance to the Conference Final.
Regardless of the winners in these matchups, both series will be hot. The experts are waiting for long continuation. Nobody thinks that any of the series would end with a score of 4:0 in favor of one of the opponents. At least 6 games are expected in each series.
This will be amazing, as there is nothing like NHL Playoffs.
