Three Wild Pitches (Tight Ends, Other Needs, Bucks)

1) PACKERS OFFENSE NOW HAS A NEW LOOK
The Packers are now the deepest team in the NFL at the tight end position, and at this pace, they might add another one soon.  With the new additions of Martellus Bennett from New England and the former Badger Lance Kendricks from Los Angeles, along with the incumbent Richard Rodgers, tight end is now a strength for the Pack.  Add those three guys to the outstanding trio of Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams, who lead another deep position, and the weapons are endless for Aaron Rodgers.  He has to be happy with Ted now, and with an even more dynamic offense, there is no reason to think that we won't be a Super Bowl contender yet again.

2) OKAY, TIGHT END IS GOOD, NOW WHAT?
Tight end.  Check.  Cornerback, running back, offensive guard, pass rusher.  Umm, let's see what happens.  When I heard the leaked story about the Packers saying they will be more active in free agency, I didn't believe it.  This is already the most active Ted Thompson has been in a decade, and despite that activity, this isn't cutting it yet.  The passing attack is great, but the rest of the team is filled, FILLED, with holes.  We have one running back on the roster, we are about to lose two starting-caliber offensive linemen, and our corners are the worst in the NFL.  So, what do we do now?
Right now we need to bring in a veteran running back, pass rusher and, most importantly, cornerback.  Bringing TJ Lang back is preferred, but I'm getting the feeling that it won't happen.  Who is left to get that will make an impact is uncertain, but that doesn't mean there is nothing left to do before the draft.

3) WHO ARE THE BUCKS?
I really don't know who the Bucks are still, I hope they are the team that we have seen the past few weeks, but I don't know for sure.  They won six in a row since that weird loss to Denver at home, and now they are right in the mix for a playoff spot.  This team has been very weird all season, and I just don't really know if they are going to all of a sudden just turn off the energy and start struggling again.  They are just one full game out of the sixth seed, but will be starting a six game road trip out west.  They have the four California teams, Portland and Memphis on it, and if they can get through that at 3-3, they could be well en route to the postseason.
