Cleveland Cavaliers Training Camp Preview

Lebron James made it to his seventh consecutive NBA Finals last season and he is looking to make it eight in a row. The problem is it is going to be a little harder without point guard Kyrie Irving. The Cavaliers traded him to the Boston Celtics for Ante Zizic, Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas, and two draft picks.
The thing is the Cavaliers lost their closer. Irving hit the game-winner in game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. However the Cavaliers will be without Thomas for possibly a part of the season because of an injury to his hip. Luckily they have Derek Rose or they would be in serious trouble at point guard.
They got rid of James Jones, Deron Williams, and Dahntay Jones. They were all useless on the roster. The Cavaliers upgraded the bench a little bit, but the question is can they surpass Boston in the east now and if they get to the finals, can they beat Golden State or any team in the west for that matter?
Starting Lineup: (C) Tristan Thompson (PF) Kevin Love (SF) Lebron James (SG) J.R. Smith (PG) Derrick Rose. Key players off bench: (PG) Isaiah Thomas, (SG) Kyle Korver, (SF) Jeff Green, (SF/PF) Jae Crowder, and Channing Frye (PF).
Head coach Tyron Lue also needs to find a way to manage his rotation better. They need to play better defensively and the Cavaliers need Kevin Love more now than they ever needed before. Cleveland will open up the season on October 17 against the Boston Celtics.
