First Quarter Squall Lifts Bucs over Seahawks

Mike Evans 3-yard and 23-yard touchdown catches from Jameis Winston in the first-quarter would be more than enough, in a Tampa Buccaneers 14 to 5 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Evans's final stat line was 5 catches for 104 yards receiving and 2 touchdown. Winston had 220 passing yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

In the second quarter, Seattle scored on a safety which was enforced by a holding penalty by Tampa Bay in the end zone. They also made a field goal as well from 43 yards out.

The most underrated story of the day is how well Tampa Bay's defense played. They had 5 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles. They made life miserable for Seattle's offense all game long. Seattle had under 300 yards of total offense.

Tampa Bay will travel to San Diego (5-6) next week.
