With 1:27 remaining for the Redskins, Cousins threw an interception to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on a first-and-10 play from the New York Giants 43-yard line. The Giants would be forced to punt afterwards. With a few seconds remaining, Cousins threw a pass to Reed, but he lateraled it and Trevin Wade picked it up for an 11-yard touchdown.

The Giants will either travel to the Green Bay Packers or the Detroit Lions on Wild Card Weekend.
