Kevin Durant Sidelined by Knee Injury
Kevin Durant left the game for the Golden State Warriors last night against the Washington Wizards, in the first quarter after Zaza Pachulia landed on his knee. Durant will be sidelined for about four weeks with sprained MCL and a bone bruise on his left leg. He will be reexamined in four weeks.
He could potentially return in the regular season, but who knows. Durant has been a major factor for the Warriors so far this season. He is averaging 25.3 PPG and 8.2 RPG.
With his absence, Steph Curry will need to find his MVP form once again. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will get more touches in his absence as they try to rediscover there game.
They are 50-10 after all and sit in first place in the western conference. They are up 4 games on the San Antonio Spurs. Will see where this Durant injury takes Golden State to.
