Oskar Sundqvist Recalled

With Patric Hornqvist sidelined with a concussion and Tom Sestito suspended for the next four games, the Pittsburgh Penguins have decided to recall Oskar Sundqvist from the minors. This is his first call up this season.

He appeared in 18 NHL games last season and had 1 goal and 3 assists. In 53 games played in the minors this season, Sundqvist has 16 goals and 23 assists with a plus/minus of 11.

This is a good call up because he will most likely be in the lineup tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. He is also a better player than Carter Rowney, who has been healthy scratched the past several games.

Sundqvist is good a defensive forward and valuable fourth liner. He has also developed a snipers game in the minors.
