Pittsburgh Should Be Embarrassed of Themselves

Everyone called last night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins, a possible finals preview and that it would be an epic series. You guys that say better be careful what you wish for.
Pittsburgh has lost six straight games to Chicago, and they got dominated in both games. I have I told people in reality that the Blackhawks would take them to the cleaners.
This is why Pittsburgh should be embarrassed of themselves. Yes they are injured and they aren't playing the excuse game which is a good thing, but the way they have been defeated in the last four games is inexcusable.
Mike Sullivan is flipping back and forth between Murray and Fleury. It's time to ride Matt Murray for the rest of the season.
The defense is made of brittle right now. Kris Letang, Olli Maatta, Ron Hainsey, and Trevor Daley are all sidelined. They all should be back for the postseason.
On offense, there is a major spark plug missing. It is like when you are trying several chargers to charge your phone and they just don't work. That is the case with the absence of Evgeni Malkin and Jake Guentzel. Maybe they are the chargers that can spark the offense once they return.
Carl Hagelin is sidelined too. Chris Kunitz has looked like a minor leaguer lately, along with Carter Rowney and Oskar Sundqvist.
Maybe this loss will make this team look in the mirror and take to heart to see what they have to do to repeat. This loss might be a wake up call for them as well.
It is better to go on a winning streak down the stretch and get the three or two seed, rather than losing intentionally and falling into a wild card spot.
