Cano HBP, Fractures Toe
Seattle Mariners' Second Baseman Robinson Cano fractured his toe after getting hit by a pitch on the cleat in the Japan All-Star series. The MLB brought many high-powered hitters, so in terms of the games, Jose Altuve will be a competent player to fill in. The Mariners must be significantly concerned because their star player just got hurt. However, Cano says he'll be fine. Obviously, being November, Cano has plenty of time to rest up before Spring Training.
Again, such an injury sparks the Paul George debate. Is it worth it to play exhibition games when a significant injury can occur? Chime in with your opinions on this poll, or in the comments below!
