Wild Card Weekend

With the NFL Playoffs set to begin, here are my predictions for Wild Card Weekend.
Titans vs. Chiefs: The Chiefs should win. They’re rested, healthy, and chomping at the bit to get an opportunity to prove that their demolition of New England on the opening night of the season was no myth. I expect Kareem Hunt to have his way on the ground against the Titans front and for Alex Smith carve up their secondary. Chiefs 27, Titans 14.
Falcons vs. Rams: There will not be a game this weekend with more points scored than this showdown in Los Angeles. The Rams have been the story of the season thus far. Sean McVay has done a masterful job igniting what last season was an abysmal unit. With that being said, I am picking Julio Jones and a seasoned Atlanta squad to storm into LA and come away with a narrow victory. Falcons 37, Rams 31.
Bills vs. Jaguars: If I could be assured that Blake Bortles would just be average, I might be picking the Jaguars to win the Super Bowl. Seriously. Their defense is that good. I expect the Jaguars to triumph over the Bills on Sunday, but it will be a dogfight. Jaguars 19, Bills 16.
Panthers vs. Saints: Cam Newton is the most overrated player in football. That is not hyperbole. The Panthers quarterback is completing less than 60% of his passes on the season while throwing 16 interceptions, which is the second most in the league. New Orleans is always a tough place to play and I expect no different when these NFC South rivals clash. Saints 31, Panthers 21.
