My 2020 mock draft

Here are complete results from my mock draft.

1. Cincinnati Bengals – QB Joe Burrows, LSU

· This is a no brainer here. The Bengals found their quarterback of the future.

2. Washington Redskins – DE Chase Young, Ohio State

· Chase Young is arguably the best player in this year’s draft so he is too good to pass on.

3. Detroit Lions – CB Jeff Okudah, Ohio State

· The Lions need a corner who has the ability to replace Darius Slay.

4. New York Giants – LB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson

· Since Chase Young is off the board, the Giants take the next best pass rusher.

5. Miami Dolphins – QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

· I won’t be surprised if Justin Herbert gets picked here but the Dolphins seem to have their eyes of Tua for a long time so they should stick with it.

6. Los Angeles Chargers – QB Justin Herbert, Oregon

· With Burrows and Tua off the board, the Chargers go with the best quarterback available.

7. Carolina Panthers – DT Derrick Brown, Auburn

· Derrick Brown fills an immediate need at defensive tackle.

8. Arizona Cardinals – OT Mekhi Becton, Louisville

· The Cardinals desperately need help at the offensive line after allowing the seventh worst sack rate in the league.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars – OT Jedrick Wills, Alabama

· The Jaguars have to protect the moustache.

10. Cleveland Browns – OT Tristan Wirfs, Iowa

· Tristan Wirfs continues the Browns’ push to upgrade the offense around Baker Mayfield.

11. New York Jets – WR CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma

· With Robby Anderson leaving to Carolina, the Jets have found their new go-to-guy for Sam Darnold.

12. Las Vegas Raiders – WR Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

· Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden fill a screaming need on the Raiders roster with a precise route runner.

13. San Francisco 49ers – WR Henry Ruggs III, Alabama

· Jimmy Garapolo gets the fastest receiver in the draft and a great fit for Kyle Shanahan’s offense.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia

· Andrew Thomas is perhaps the readiest to play OT in the draft and should provide immediate protection for THE GOAT Tom Brady.

15. Denver Broncos – CB C.J. Henderson, Florida

· The Broncos find their no. 2 corner alongside A.J. Bouye.

16. Atlanta Falcons – DT Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina

· Javon Kinlaw gives the Falcons a lot of help along the defensive line.

17. Dallas Cowboys – DT Klavon Chaisson, LSU

· The Cowboys bolster their pass rush by picking the LSU edge defender.

18. Miami Dolphins – RB D’Andre Swift, Georgia

· After taking a franchise quarterback with their first pick, here they take the draft’s no. 1 running back.

19. Las Vegas Raiders – LB Patrick Queen, LSU

· Patrick, LSU’s stud linebacker, fills the Raiders need at LB.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars – CB Jaylon Johnson, Utah

· This pick makes sense for the Jaguars as they need help in the secondary.

21. Philadelphia Eagles – WR Tee Higgins, Clemson

· The Eagles choose size over speed at wide receiver. Tee Higgins adds another red-zone weapon to the Eagles offense and will be a big target for Carson Wentz.

22. Minnesota Vikings – CB Jeff Gladney, TCU

· The Vikings take a corner with a versatile skill set in Jeff Gladney and he fits their major cornerback need.

23. New England Patriots – QB Jordan Love, Utah State

· Jordan Love will help usher in a new era in Foxborough.

24. New Orleans Saints – LB Zack Baun, Wisconsin

· Zack Baun could be an immediate contributor and long-term starter for a much-improved Saints defense.

25. Minnesota Vikings – WR Laviska Shenault Jr., Colorado

· After taking a cornerback with their first pick, here they find a top quality wideout to replace Stefon Diggs.

26. Miami Dolphins – OT Joshua Jones, Houston

· Joshua Jones will protect Tua Tagovailoa’s blindside.

27. Seattle Seahawks – DE Yetur Gross-Matos, Penn State

· The Seahawks use this pick on Jadeveon Clowney’s successor.

28. Baltimore Ravens – LB Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma

· The Ravens find their true replacement for C.J. Mosley who’s now with the Jets.

29. Tennessee Titans – DE Jared Epenesa, Iowa

· The Titans are in a desperate need at EDGE talent opposite Harold Landry.

30. Green Bay Packers – TE Cole Kmet, Notre Dame

· Aaron Rodgers has always loved targeting tight ends and Cole Kmet gives him a sizeable weapon.

31. San Francisco 49ers – CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama

· After taking Ruggs with their 13th overall pick, here they add another Alabama star while addressing the defense.

32. Kansas City Chiefs – C Cesar Ruiz, Michigan

· The Chiefs make a significant investment to bolster the interior of their offensive line by taking the Michigan center.
