Bryan Colangelo Steps in, and Jerry Steps out!
After a crazy and bizarre week last week with Sam Hinkie stepping down from his job and his resignation letter which somehow got leaked to ESPN and then leaked to the public. Who leaked it? Hmm, it's probably safe to say it was most likely Jerry Colangelo that leaked it, he wanted Hinkie out since he got here in December that's what most people think. The Sixers had a press conference yesterday afternoon.
The press conference was supposed to be today to officially introduce Bryan Colangelo as the Sixers' new General Manager and President of Basketball Operations. Bryan doesn't have the "title" of General Manager presay but he's pretty much the GM too; the Sixers website doesn't list a GM under the front-office directory. It's funny how Bryan's father Jerry Colangelo wasn't at the press conference at all and stepped down as the Chairman of Basketball Operations. But will remind as a "special adviser" to the team.

Some reactions to Bryan being the new GM and President from Twitter:
Gotta say, Bryan Colangelo is doing a decent job & sounds genuine but Josh Harris is destroying this presser by looking like a total doofus.

Bryan Colangelo once threatened to throw 17-year old me out of a Suns game. Then Jason Kidd broke his foot or something.

Vlade Divac, Dell Demps, Bryan Colangelo, Phil Jackson, Ernie Grunfeld, Doc Rivers... I think we have our 2016 Atrocious GM Panel set.

Owner, Josh Harris said the Sixers started discussions with Bryan Colangelo back in January. And people wonder why Sam Hinkie gave his resignation, there you go as I've said before in a previous article he was forced out simple as that.

Josh Harris is such a crappy owner that doesn't know what the hell he is doing. I really can't stand him. Most everything he said he the presser was a load of crap. He tried to make us really think that Jerry Colangelo had nothing to do with his son getting hired bull crap! He tried to say that Adam Sliver the NBA commissioner didn't have anything to do with the Sixers being in Jerry. All Bull crap!
Here are some quotes from the Presser from Josh and Bryan:
From Josh:
"Just to be clear, Jerry is an asset and a talent and someone who we were very excited to add to the franchise , "Harris began.
One of the questions asked to Josh:
Question: If you were in Sam's position, after you two sat down and decided to put the Process in motion, for you to being in one Colangelo and now another, from Hinke's perspective, couldn't you see how that would seem like you're pushing out the door?
Answer from Josh (sort of but not really): "It's hard to speak for Sam. You'd after to speak to him. I don't know."
Once again Harris gave a bull crap answer in not answering a simple question. Bryan in fact had to step in and answer for him. This made Harris look like a complete fool.
What Bryan said:
"There was always intention that Sam was going to be part of this."
Harris tried to get back into answering the question:
"The reality is, Bryan was head-and-shoulders above every other candidate. The reality is, the optics of it are something we're now managing with you all."
Tell me again how this freaking guy is an NBA owner. Clueless and weak!
