The Rundown: Boogie Gets Suspended, C.J. Rips Dallas and Can We Just Fire Phil Already?
Bye Boogie: After receiving his 16th technical foul on Monday, DeMarcus Cousins will be suspended one game by the NBA. The league also fined Cousins $25,000 for “making an inappropriate statement and gesture” after the Kings beat the Warriors on Feb. 4. Cousins will sit out of Wednesday's game against Boston, and every technical he racks up from here on out will land him another suspension. So for one of the most passionate guys in the league, it'll be tough to stay out of trouble.
C.J. McCollum and Dirk Nowitzki Trade Shots: It was another exciting game in the association as the Portland Trailblazers visited the Dallas Mavericks, and this one came down to the wire. Mavs great Dirk Nowitzki played some vintage basketball, hitting not just one, but two clutch three pointers!

Dirk drains the three w/ 3.9 seconds left to put the @dallasmavs up late! pic.twitter.com/5ufuOj1bQf
In between Dirk's threes, C.J. McCollum was not to be outdone, making a tough and-one layup. He then sealed the game for Rip City with this clutch finish in the lane.

Time For a Breakup: Under the tenor of Phil Jackson, the New York Knicks have proven nothing, other than the triangle offense doesn't have a place in today's NBA. Over the past few months, Jackson has proven that he doesn't have a place with the Knicks organization. Dropping some subtle and some not so subtle hints that he wants Carmelo Anthony out of New York in an attempt to rebuild the team, he has shown me that he doesn't have the maturity to be in charge of a roster like the Knicks, and his last not so subtle tweet proves that it isn't a good fit anymore. He has questioned Melo's commitment time and time again, despite him saying that he wants to be in New York. He refuses to give up, publicly calling him out, referencing a story from Bleacher Report. Jackson tanked this roster in his very first year, and it has yet to start looking up. And until Jackson is gone, things will only continue to get worse.
