Ohio State And Michigan Survive.
Hi everybody. Saturday was an interesting day for Both Michigan and Ohio State they are both in the middle of a Big battle for the top 4 of the college football playoff. Both teams survived on Saturday.
Ohio State beat Michigan State 17-16 after Michigan State missed a 2-point conversion with 4:41 left in the ballgame. J.T Barrett was not much to brag about in the passing department. Barrett was only 10/22 for 86 yards. But he carried the ball 24 times for 105 yards and a touchdown. Mike Weber was the real hero of the day. Weber carried the ball 14 times for 111 yards and a touchdown of his own. As Ohio State Barley Survived Michigan State on Saturday. Ohio State did not play well at all we will see how this fans out when the New top 4 comes out on Tuesday.
Michigan didn't play to well either. They were down 7-3 at the half. They were without Wilton Speight who was out with a shoulder injury after Michigan's loss to Iowa last Saturday Night. John O'KORN was not impressive at all at Quarterback he was only 7/16 for 59 Yards for the game. It Was DE'VEON Smith who was the real hero in Ann Arbor in a snow storm. He had 23 carries foe 158 yards and 2 touchdowns. In their 20-10 victory over Indiana. Michigan was not themselves on Saturday. But they are in a Better position in my opinion because they had a better performance against Indiana.
Well it this it folks the Showdown at the Shoe. Here's my take, This is going to be a replay of the 2006 battle at the shoe because both teams are in the top 5 in the country. And one of these two teams could play for the Big 10 championship. But don't forget both teams have to worry about Penn State. Michigan is in a better position because they control their own destiny. All Michigan has to do is Beat Ohio State and they are in the Big 10 championship game. Penn State has to beat Michigan State and hope Ohio State beats Michigan and then Penn State is in. Ohio State has a tougher road to the Big 10 championship game. They Need to beat Michigan and then they have to have Michigan State beat Penn State and then it's Ohio State playing for the big 10 championship. But in Closing I will say this. This Big 10 season has been full of surprises this season we would not be talking about Penn State if Ohio State had not slacked off in the 4th Quarter in Happy Valley. But this is anybody's for the taking next Saturday and we will see what happens this coming Saturday when everything comes to ahead and will see who the best teams are.
