Looking At The 2019-2020 Kansas Jayhawks

Distractions, headaches, complaints, confusion, and frustration. That sums up the offseason the Jayhawks had, numerous odd scenarios, a looming NCAA investigation with allegations announced. That might make you wonder what is going on in Lawrence. Well the Jayhawks look primed for a bounce back season, losing the Big 12 conference title last year was bittersweet, and frustrating. But Coach Self and his staff have made sure that their team will be better this year, the team is very focused and primed for a huge season. The looming NCAA investigation has some fans concerned, Bill Self and company not so much. Their goal? Cut down the nets in early April, that would be a big deal. The NCAA would have to present a trophy to the Jayhawks and that would be fitting, considering the offseason the Jayhawks just had. Kansas is looking to excite their athletics programs and fans even more, the football team seems to be turning a tide under new head coach Les Miles, and the basketball team looks to add even more fire to Jayhawk fans. Tonight they play an exhibition game against Fort Hays State, and some people might say "oh who cares." Well it's the return of Silvio De Sousa, the player that has been investigated by the NCAA and robbed of his college basketball career. Udoka Azubuike is healthy and ready for a big year, along with newcomers and some transfers, this team looks scary good. How good? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, no one wants to play a fired up Kansas Jayhawks team.
