Tennessee Titans: The Vic Beasley scenario remains confusing

Never in my life did I think I would be writing about edge-rusher Vic Beasley before he had even showed up to confirm he was a Tennessee Titan.

I'm not going to take the time to catch everyone up on what has been going on for the last week because it is well documented here. Let's just get to the most recent news and what we learned from Titans' head coach Mike Vrabel on Wednesday.

That's right. Here we are 10 full days after Beasley was supposed to report to St. Thomas Sports Park to get tested for COVID-19 and get a chance to meet his new teammates and coaches, but, the former Atlanta Falcon remains MIA.

At first, he was placed on the 'Did Not Report/Inactive list.' Now that general manager Jon Robinson has at least spoken with the player (a the very least spoken with him) we at least think Vic will show up to training camp and still plans on being a member of the team when the season starts in mid September.

When news first broke, I assumed that Beasley was taking time to make a decision to play this season for health concerns or family reasons. Well, based off of the pictures shared on Twitter earlier today, it is rather clear that those are not the reasons keeping him away from training camp.

Seriously though, what is the plan here Vic?! Do you want to get paid for one-year of football? Or are you going to retire after your rookie contract with the Falcons ran out? Make up your mind!

The Titans need to know whether they can rely on this guy this season or should explore other options.

Let's just reach a conclusion please!
