Where is Tennessee ranked in the SEC?

?KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee is 4-0 for the first time in 13 years, and as the SEC Country Power Poll suggests, the Vols are gaining momentum.

Tennessee (4-0, 1-0 SEC) is third in the SEC this week according to the SEC Country rankings after its dramatic 38-28 victory over East Division rival Florida (3-1, 0-1).

The poll consists of 22 voters, including those from SEC Country and around the nation. The home win snapped Tennessee’s 11-game losing streak to Florida, while extending the Vols win streak to 10 games dating back to last season.

Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs had career-highs in passing yards (319) and passing touchdowns (4), and he also accounted for 80 yards rushing and a 5-yard touchdown run.

The Vols head to Athens, Ga., next Saturday for another pivotal SEC East Division game, this one between the Bulldogs famed Hedges.

A trip to Texas A&M is a couple of weeks off on Oct. 8 before the Oct. 15 showdown with defending national champion Alabama in Neyland Stadium.

The Vols were ranked No. 11 in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll this morning, and they were also No. 11 in the AP Top 25 and Coaches’ Poll put out earlier this afternoon. However, Tennessee is ranked 3rd this week throughout the whole SEC
