Crow Creek's Joe Sazue III looks dangerous

Joe Sazue 111 and the Crow Creek Chieftains, led Little Wound, on the road, midway through the third quarter.

After watching a terrific game between Crow Creek and Little Wound Saturday came away impressed with both teams and with the knowledge that Joe Sazue III would be disgusting to guard.

Kid has some serious game, and while he didn't shoot it great in the second half, he showed flashes of being a really dangerous ball player. Quick, beats the defender to the spot and can get into the lane. Steph Curry range, a good mid-range jumper and aware of everything happening on the court.

Slithery!

Really game effort for Crow Creek as the Chieftains led at the half, and I believe, led by five early in the third quarter. Dayson Kohlus, another tough guard on the un-orthodox lefty and a guy that really directed traffic well, shot it when called upon and mucked things up for the Little Wound guards. Luke Wells was terrific...Solid, steady, really battles for things and gets in the mix.

Crow Creek is bigger than I thought they would be with Josiah Blue Arm, Wells and Estes coming off the bench. I know Estes didn't shoot it like he's capable of but nice to see him step in and knock down a 15-footer after not seeing the ball go through from deep.

People will see the final score, 73-64 and think a pretty comfortable win but Crow Creek was right there.....

Dang if that St. Francis vs. Crow Creek game in the first round doesn't just keep getting bigger and bigger. Don't know if anyone noticed but both teams lost to Little Wound by identical margins....Nine points!
