Miami Dolphins: Flying past the Jets

In it's third straight win the Miami Dolphins extend the winning streak to three and improve their record to 4-4. It wasn't easy and the now 3-6 New York Jets almost won this game if not for how the game ended.

There were four lead changes through out the game. Miami led 7-3, than the Jets 10-7 and Miami again 14-10. A little later the Jets scored a field goal to make the game 14-13. At half time this was the score.

During the second half Miami scored a field goal to extend the lead to 17-13. Miami kicked another field goal on an ensuing drive making the game 20-13. The Jets also scored a field goal and made the game 20-16.

Now the Jets were in the red zone and Ryan Fitzpatrick threw an inception. Unfortunately Miami went three and out and had to punt. The punter mishandled the ball and the Jets got the ball in the red zone. The next play Fitzpatrick threw a touchdown to make it a 23-20 game advantage Jets.

But it was not over and hope was not less because on the ensuing kickoff Kenyan Drake got the ball and took off. He had it to the fifty, the forty, the thirty, the twenty the ten TOUCHDOWN MIAMI!!! With a 27-23 score the Dolphins were able to get the ball back and run out the clock for the win.

The next game is San Diego and they are a good team. Miami will try to extend their streak to four games and possibly be a wild card contender. This was a huge win for the Dolphins and hopefully is one of many to come.
