Auston Matthews On Fire
The Toronto Maple Leafs were down right bad last season. Auston Matthews was drafted number one overall this past summer. Matthews has made the Maple Leafs believing now and in the future.
He is one of the reasons why Toronto's record is 39-24-15 with 93 points. They currently sit in second place in the Atlantic Division momentarily. He has 39 goals and 28 assists, with a plus/minus of 14 this season.
39 goals is the most scored by an American born rookie. Mitch Marner and William Nylander have also helped out his cause this season. Matthews is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the NHL for a long time.
