Bills Shutout Patriots
Would the Patriots escape with a 4th consecutive win without Tom Brady against the Buffalo Bills? The New England Patriots were shutout 16 to 0. The positive that comes out of this is the New England Patriots will get Tom Brady back next week from suspension.
Jimmy Garoppolo didn't play for the second straight game and Jacoby Brissett was the starter. He threw for 205 passing yards, but the offense never seemed to get into rhythm often. Martellus Bennett had 5 catches for 109 yards receiving for the Patriots.
Buffalo sacked Brissett 3 times and the defense forced 2 fumbles. Buffalo's lone touchdown of the game came in the first-quarter when Tyrod Taylor threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to LeSean McCoy. McCoy rushed for 78 yards and he had 38 yards receiving. Taylor threw for 246 yards and 1 touchdown.
Dan Carpenter kicked 3 field-goals from 34,43, and 44 yards out. The Buffalo Bills will travel to the Los Angeles Rams (2-1) Next Sunday.
