NHL Rumours: Cam Fowler to TOR?/Lindholm/Neuvrith [TRADE TALKS]

The Anaheim Ducks have been actively scouting Toronto Maple Leafs games lately. We all know Cam Fowler is a possibility for many teams at the moment, but its starting to look like the Leafs could be high in the mix. The Ducks are looking to resign Hampus Lindholm which is why Cam Fowler is on the trading block as of late. This deal would prove to be beneficial to the Leafs as well, by giving Toronto the boost they need on the back end this season. With the struggles Frederik Andersen has had in the crease so far, its fair to say that he could use a confidence boost from a player like Fowler to help him out.

The Ducks are working towards signing Hampus Lindholm. However, if a deal isn't reached Anaheim is also willing to explore a trade involving a young defensemen in return for Lindholm, per Jimmy Murphy

Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Ron Hextall would be willing to trade a goalie (possibly Neuvrith) to the Kings if the price was right, according to Flyers beat writer Sam Charchidi.

The Toronto Maple Leafs placed Milan Michalek on waivers yesterday. Michalek is in the final year of his deal that pays him $4 million, which will make him a hard player for other team's to pick up. Michael will be sent to the AHL Marlies if he clears waivers.
