UConn Lady Huskies win 100th Straight game.

Hello Everybody. UConn was the place to be on Monday after the UConn Lady Huskies did something so special that we will never see it happen again in our Lifetime. The Lady Huskies scored their 100th consecutive victory and that my friends is a milestone. It happened after they beat the No.6 South Carolina Lady Gamecocks 66-55. The SC Women had a good game I will say that But UConn was better. Gabby Williams had 26 points and 14 rebounds and NAPHEESA Collier had 18 points and Rebounds in this milestone victory.

UConn Coach Geno Auriemma said after the game " When I came here at the start of the 1985-86 season I didn't expect to win 100 games at all. And I sure as heck didn't to expect to win 100 consecutive games at all at UConn. But we did it, I don't know how but we did what many people said we couldn't do. If you look at what we went through Tonight you can see why. Katie Lou Samuelson couldn't stay out of foul Trouble. Kia Nurse couldn't run at all. But I am so proud of these kids because of what we did to get to this point. And if you think about what we have put these kids through everyday you can see why. Our Coaching staff put's them through a lot everyday and it's hard but it's worth it." Auriemma also got his 980th Career win along the way.

And this game was almost not played as scheduled. There was a lot of snow this weekend. So much so that the Drifts were so high that Gabby Williams couldn't even jump over them. But they did it and my congrats to the UConn Women for this remarkable achievement. Other Former UConn players were in attendance on Monday Night. So much so with the Injured Plagued roster that UConn had Coach Geno Auriemma was tempted to get them out of retirement to play on Monday Night.

These Former players in attendance also offered their congrats to these Special Players. SWIN Cash " my congrats to these special ladies for what they did" Diana TAURASI " I am so proud of these Girls for what they did. it's amazing" Moriah Jefferson " I wish I was apart of this special achievement. I am so proud of these young ladies." Breanna Stewart " These Young Ladies have a very special future ahead of them and we will never see this again."

Well folks this picture is worth 100 wins and 1000 words. I am going to do something a little different today. I am not going to give you my take because this picture tells the story. But today I am going to just extend my congratulations to the UConn Women's Basketball team for doing something that we will never see again in our lifetime. That's winning 100 straight games. Not Even Coach K at Duke or even Bobby Knight when he was at Indiana, Not Even John Wooden At UCLA in the 70'S couldn't even win 100 games. And this was when Bill Walton was playing for him. This UConn Women's team is very special they have won 4 straight national championships and they are looking for the 5th this year and my best of luck to them and these young Ladies are very special. This is something that they can tell their kids and Grandkids about when it comes to that. But for now it's back to work for the UConn Women. As they look for their 5th National Title. But one last thing before I go. I would like to extend my Congratulations to these special young ladies for winning 100 straight. And it is my honor and Privilege to induct this special UConn Women's Basketball And Coach Geno Auriemma and his coaching staff into my WALL OF HONOR!!!!!!!!. And I am very happy for you and I want to wish all of you the best of luck the rest of this season.
