Capitals Survive

A three-goal third period sparked the Washington Capitals to a 4 to 2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in game 5.
Carl Hagelin scored in the first for Pittsburgh. Andre Burakovsky scored for Washington in the first. Phil Kessel scored a power-play goal for the Penguins in the second-period.
Washington woke up in the third and goals were scored by Nicklas Backstrom, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Alex Ovechkin.
Barry Trotz called out his top players after game 4 and they responded in a big way in game 5.
Ovechkin was moved to the third line and Burakovsky was moved to the first line. Braden Holtby made big saves in the third period, and he had 20 saves.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves for the Penguins, but he wasn't particually sharp in the third. The Washington Capitals stay alive for the moment and Game 6 is on Monday Night in Pittsburgh.
