Girls need Sports Video Games

Females need their heroes on the screen.

Madden and NBA 2K are about to be released very soon. I enjoy these titles, and yet I discovered that females get left out. EA Sports and 2K need to make titles for women sports fans to enjoy. The blatant sexism is constantly ignored. Women are in the WNBA, Soccer, Hockey, UFC, and Softball, Golf and the list can go on.

Women deserve games they can enjoy and play with their friends. Why can't 2K or EA Sports just make a DLC of women sports is beyond me. I think it is ridiculous and unfair to female consumers. More females play video games, and it is a rapidly growing market.  In fact why not have a option in my player mode to be a female WNBA trying to make the NBA. I bet the game developers are stuck in the 90's they don't even see the new 2015 market.

You have three recent historic hiring of Sarah Thomas who is a referee. Arizona Cardinals hired Jen Welter a female assistant coach. The Spurs hired Becky Hammon to be their assistant, and she recently won the summer league championship. I hope the next step is to include women, and I hope they do it this year. America is ready for the future of gaming, are you EA and 2K?
