How good has Cole Beasley been this season

Cole Beasley leads Dallas in receptions, receiving yards and receiving TD's as the Cowboys improved to 10-1 with the Thanksgiving win over Washington.

As we move to the latter stages of the season there are a lot of pieces to this Cowboy offense that are operating at a high level. Ezekiel Elliot leads the NFL in rushing and Dak Prescott has been nothing short of unflappable with 2835 yards with the 18 TD's, 2 picks and 68 percent completion percentage.

Look a little deeper at those stats and who is leading the Cowboys in receptions, receiving yards and receiving TD's.

While Dez Bryant would be the logical choice, it's the diminutive one, Cole Beasley.

Cole Beasley 58 catches - 647 11.2 (average)  5 TD's

Jason Witten 52 - 553 10.6  2 TD's, Dez Bryant 33 - 550 16.7 (average, leads the team) - 5 TD's, Terrance Williams 27 381 14.1 47 2, Ezekiel Elliott 24 303 12.6 83 1

It's been a monster year already for Beasley who, through 11 games, has already put up career highs in receptions, yardage and ties his career high with 5 TD's.

On pace for 84 catches, 941 yards and 8-9 TD's.

Wow...the man came into this season with 52 for 536 and 5 TD's as career highs and if he stays healthy, he'll blow those numbers out of the water.

And it's not just that Beasley has been terrific this season, it's how and where he's been terrific, catching a lot of balls on third down, third-and-short- situations to keep the chains moving. In years past, it's felt like the Cowboys used Beasley as a nice dump-off solution, this season, he looks like a weapon. Beasley is lightning quick, in and out of those slot routes, give him and inch and his yards after catch are eating people up.

This is no dump-off, fourth option, this is a weapon, and a guy that Dak Prescott seems comfortable going to in clutch moments. When defenders are quick to double Dez Bryant, take away the threat of Terrance Williams and bottle up Jason Witten, someone has to come free, and it's usually Cole Beasley. Take away Beasley and it's Witten that's open...Take away Witten and Beasley and you have to deal with Bryant....Lethal, has this Dallas offense become.

While the man stands a measly 5-foot-8, 180 pounds, and won't strike fear in anyone stepping off the bus, he's been beastly this season and a very un-talked about Cowboy having a big part to do with this 10-1 season.
