Week 10 NFL Predictions

Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

The race to the postseason is on. Week 10 is in front of us. The Cleveland Browns haven't won a game yet this season. Derek Carr impressed for the Raiders last week against the Broncos. The Raiders took the lead in the AFC West. Will Bryce Petty finally be the Jets starting quarterback? When will it be time for Jared Goff to start for the Rams?

I went 9-4 with my picks last week. I am 81-50-2 on the year.

Cleveland Browns 14, Baltimore Ravens 24: Is it really possible for the Ravens to slip up against the Browns after beating the Steelers? I don't think it is possible because Cleveland is purely awful and the Ravens are electric on both sides of the ball. It has the potential to be another Thursday Night bummer.

Kansas City Chiefs 16, Carolina Panthers 20: Alex Smith returns for the Chiefs at quarterback. The Panthers will dial up blitzes from every corner to make him uncomfortable. It will cause Smith to be careless with the football and give Carolina good field position. Cam Newton will carry the team on his back offensively.

Houston Texans 21, Jacksonville Jaguars 14: If Houston can't figure out their road woes this week, they never will. Jacksonville hasn't been good all year. Brock Osweiler will play just well enough on offense for the Texans.

Denver Broncos 21, New Orleans Saints 31: It's very possible the Saints are starting to hit their stride. Mike Thomas is turning into a stud at wide receiver for New Orleans. He is going to challenge either Aqib Talib or Chris Harris as well. The Broncos will struggle will run the ball once again which means Trevor Siemian is going to have to out play Drew Brees in order to win.

Los Angeles Rams 9, New York Jets 12: This isn't the game of the week, it's most boring game of the week. Both sides bring no excitement except for both teams being a circus act in the locker room. Jared Goff should start for the Rams and Bryce Petty should start for the Jets but it won't

Atlanta Falcons 38, Philadelphia Eagles 31: The Eagles will be able to put up points against the Falcons, but I don't think Carson Wentz is capable of outplaying Matt Ryan. The Falcons have a better running game than the Eagles do.

Chicago Bears 21, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23: Jordan Howard is going run the ball down Tampa Bay's throats. However, the Buccaneers will commit fewer turnovers.

Green Bay Packers 34, Tennessee Titans 23: The Titans will be able to score against an atrocious Packers defense, but the Titans defense won't able to stop Aaron Rodgers. They have lost two straight and they won't lose 3 straight to a team that beats themselves sometimes.

Minnesota Vikings 20, Washington Redskins 26: The Redskins offense will put pressure on the Vikings offense to score touchdowns. It is a very challenging task for the Vikings right now. They are going to have to win field positioning to win this game.

Miami Dolphins 21, San Diego Chargers 28: Jay Ajayi and Melvin Gordon is taking the league by storm right now with how well both running backs have been playing in the backfield. If both of them struggle, San Diego will do a better job of passing the ball to Gordon. Ajayi isn't really known for catching the ball out of the backfield and I don't trust Tannehill.

San Francisco 49ers 17, Arizona Cardinals 42: This will be another week where the 49ers defense gets bombarded. Arizona has so much speed on offense that it will cause the 49ers problems. The Cardinals defense will also be in attack mode.

Dallas Cowboys 28, Pittsburgh Steelers 35: This has the potential to be a game for the ages. Dallas is 7-1 with rookie phenoms  Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Pittsburgh is 4-4 and looking to keep pace with Baltimore in the AFC North. Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, and Ben Rothelisberger will be triplet phenoms on Sunday. This is an old NFL rivalry and it is going to be heated. Last team with the ball will win this game.

Seattle Seahawks 24, New England Patriots 20: Seattle's offense got rolling last week and that is scary for them. They haven't played well offensively all year and they will play well once again this week. Tom Brady is going to face blitzes all game long, and he is going to turn the ball over a couple of times.

Cincinnati Bengals 24, New York Giants 31: A.J. Green is a dynamic receiver for the Bengals, and Odell Beckham Jr. is a dynamic receiver for the Giants. It is not about which one does better, it is about which one will get more help. Green has Tyler Eifert and Jeremy Hill. Beckham Jr. has Sterling Shepard, Victor Cruz, and Rashad Jennings. The Giants will be more disciplined in the late stages of the game.

Byes: Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, and Oakland Raiders.
